Drum Jam Events run African drumming workshops for Corporate, Education and Community groups. Drawing inspiration from Africa's rich and diverse cultural resources.
Many of Drum Jam Events's facilitators come from Africa and have travelled to study music in Africa.
Many of the rhythms we used are drawn from the area of West Africa including countries such as Gambia, Senegal, Guinnea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana.
West Africa has a a rich tradition of drumming, dance and singing, spread throughout the continent. Every tribe throughout the continent has a number of different drums that they will use for celebrating culture and various musical activities.
